Last Sunday I was in the subway with my friend Pete and I came across a packet of snack crackers and the funny pages sitting neatly on the subway bench. I found the scene inviting. If I had been in the mood for a snack and waiting alone on the platform with out company to keep me entertained I may very well have been tempted to indulge. Who doesn't love a snack and something to read while waiting for the train.
