While cleaning and organizing my archives recently, I came across this copy of DD. DD was a christian comic from the early 1980's which associated D&D with witchcraft and Satan worship. I thought that those of you who may not be familiar with it would be interested.



Fortunately, I had a very cool and sensible Mom with regards to D&D and Satan worship as did most of my friends back then. Unfortunately, not all kids were as lucky.

Professor Archibald Jeggare and Toth - Part I

Professor Archibald Jeggare, Bard CN Human

- Former visiting Professor of Shoanti antiquities at the universities of Korvosa and Magnamar.
- Descendant of "the Gentleman Explorer" and founder of Korvosa, Montclair Jeggare.

Appearance
Tall (5'8), black and silver hair with white beard and handlebar moustache. Wears a monocle in his right eye. Naturally Light skinned but deeply tanned, weathered and ruggedly good looking.

Garb
He cuts a hansome figure in his traditional style explorers outfit (with an abundance of pockets and pouches) and sports a 3/4 length charcoal and Russet colored reversible cape. Archabald is fond of hats. His chapeau of choice is the "Kelishite Two Quarters Conical". He is rather fond as well of colorful scarves and neckerchiefs and is never caught out of doors without one. His favorite is a royal blue paisley Varsian scarf that was given him as a gift by his mother (a Varisian pocketed scarf, concealing a signal whistle, sunflower seeds and the stub of an old smoke stick).

In addition to exotic hats and neck apparel, The Professor is also a deeply passionate collector of Pre Chelaxian, Shoanti erotic pottery. His passion for erotic pottery and art ultimately led him to abandon his Varisian home and, following in the footsteps of his famous ancestor, set out for parts unknown. He has since visited the famous ruined Shoanti pyramid situated in the heart of the distant city of Korvosa, sailed the Conqueror's bay and toured the city of Magnimar.
Biography
Born of Varisian parents in distant Kelesh, It was at an unusually early age that archibald Jeggare developed a deep appreciation for all things ancient and forbidden. A serious young man, he devoted himself to the study of ancient history and archeology and later, joining with a group of nomadic Kelishite frontiersmen, founded the first of several expeditions to explore and study the ruined remains of the ancient eastern desert empires . It was during this period of discovery that he uncovered the first fragments of pre-Chelaxian Shoainty statuary and pottery. Little did he realize at the time that the discovery of these first tiny fragments would later lead him to what would become a life long passion as a collector.
